As we wrapped up our October weddings, Erin and Ian’s celebration at the charming South Farm left us with a warm glow. This couple was a delight to work with, bringing a vision that truly embraced the beauty of autumn. From the rich, seasonal colours to the thoughtfully placed floral details, this wedding was the perfect finale for our fall season!
A Ceremony at Saint Andrew’s Church
Erin and Ian began their wedding day with a beautiful ceremony at Saint Andrew’s Church in Cambridge. We designed multipurpose floral meadows to line the aisle, adding a vibrant touch to the church’s serene beauty. These meadows, crafted with burnt oranges, deep reds, and burgundies, were filled with seasonal favourites, including our very last dahlias of the year and luxurious reflexed Ecuadorian roses. The colour palette added a warm, romantic ambiance that perfectly matched the autumnal spirit of the day.
Transforming the Barn at South Farm
After the ceremony, we transported the aisle meadows to South Farm, where they took on a new role as stunning centrepieces for the reception tables. This seamless transition allowed us to carry the same lush, autumn-inspired look from the ceremony to the reception, creating a cohesive flow of colour and texture throughout the day. The warm tones and layered florals added a rich depth to the barn setting, making the space feel both intimate and grand.
Embracing Autumn’s Richest Hues
Erin and Ian’s colour palette truly celebrated the season, with burnt oranges, deep reds, and burgundies blending harmoniously. These colours brought out the best in the florals, from the last dahlias of the season to our signature reflexed Ecuadorian roses, which added that touch of luxury we absolutely adore. With the deep shades of autumn offset by delicate greenery, each arrangement exuded a feeling of warmth and elegance.
A Memorable Day to Conclude the Season
As we reflect on Erin and Ian’s wedding, we’re filled with gratitude for the opportunity to work with such a lovely couple. This wedding was a beautiful reminder of why we love what we do: bringing each couple’s vision to life and enhancing their special day with carefully crafted floral designs.
We can’t wait for another season of weddings and celebrations, but for now, we’re cherishing this last October wedding that brought our floral year to a beautiful close. Thank you, Erin and Ian, for allowing us to be a part of your day—it was truly a joy to create something so uniquely you!
Stay tuned for more stories and inspiration, as we look forward to another year filled with love, colour, and creativity.
